Another ridiculous step in the MPAA campaign : "Boy Scouts in the Los Angeles area will now be able to earn an activity patch for learning about the evils of downloading pirated movies and music."Scouts will be instructed in the basics of copyright law and learn how to identify five types of copyrighted works and three ways copyrighted materials may be stolen." photo here : http://www.cdfreaks.com/news/14164 |

I was just reading about this somewhere else. Can the patches get any easyer to get. When I was growing up you had to do something to earn a badge, like cook a meal, put up a tent, help an old woman. Now all you have to do is sit and listen to some blow hard talk about how wrong it is to copy music and movies. (are these kids realy that stupid that they cant figure out what a copyright is suppost to meen.) Sad, My mommy and Daddy told me and I made my own choice like a educated person. Whats next a badge for not wetting your bed, or maybe one for not running in the halls........LMAO |
