just as jkf pointed all of the major Middle East conflicts are masterminded by some behind the scenes groups (brotherhoods, masons, Opus dei crap) who do not give a shiit about people's lives. Their only interest is to cause conflicts so their business income skyrockets and then they show up as peacemakers so they could influence new business deals.. The illuminate probably have their fingers in this 'pie' too, the 5% nation comes to mind again, especially when they want to increase their wealth. Wars are the perfect way for them to do so (increase wealth at cost of peoples lives), weapons need manufacturing, metal is needed for the manufacturing, logistics companies for transporting them the list goes on, lots of money is made for these people before the weapons etc are even sold - and then they make yet more money from it!!!
