limneos used to make a big deal if you didnt use the code for any urls but here noone seems to say anything, how should we be posing links, or does it matter? |

live links are disabled anyways, so its not that big of a deal anymore... i always code everything, just because i like it better that way... |

I agree I think when you code your links it makes it look better. |

I just updated the board a week ago and had to go back and hand edit a few files to disable the "make-clickable" function. Think I got them all. As the duckster and wasted had mentioned, it makes your post look neater when the links are framed. We don't like to see hxxp:xxx or w?w.site.com kind of substitutions in the posts as they can create some confusion to a lot of people. Please continue to use the "code" function whenever possible. I changed the position of the code button in the BBcode a few days ago so the button is one of those that are shown without having to hit the "More Tags" hot spot. |
