Code: Virtually any content type can now be protected from illegal copying and use, according to HexaLock
"This adds a new level of functionality and capability to the DupliQ system," said Ming Liu, President, Acronova Technology, Inc. "Publishers, including those in the government, military and academic institutions can now protect their digital assets from unauthorized copying and use. PDF documents, HTML files, XML files, MP3 audio files, AVI and MPEG video files and GIF, JPG, and BMP image files are examples of file types that can now be protected on CD-Rs."
Highlights include the following:
Completely redesigned and easy to use HexaLock software designed especially for the DupliQ recorder.
Support for protecting content files in addition to Program .exe files.

Password protection options.

I have to agree with cyberval .Just look at this forum and support that goes out when someone wants something bad enough someone here always pulls through and finds a crack or generator for about anything out there . It is just a matter of time and there will be a crack or fix for it. |

pfff.. security companies most of the time publish bulls**t. In my opinion non of the companies so far can keep up with the cracking teams... |

After a workaround has been found and people can play the game, there is less of an incentive to crack the protection. Of course a nocd is always better than some fixed-image but it doesn't really matter as long as it work one way or the other.
There are of course protections that have not been cracked, for example most newer sat scrambling systems. Last time I checked Irdeto II hadn't been cracked. But of course hardware protection systems offer higher security. Remember how difficult it was to crack the autocad hasp protection even though it wasn't an all-hardware protection. |
