Out of curiosity, I was checking to see what kind of stocks one of my mutual
funds had in it... and surprisingly, it contained Opera Software ASA as one on its
top holdings... (well, its tanked like all the other other funds that I own...) Laughing

But while I was looking at their site, I decided to test drive the latest Opera
browser. Its been a very long time since I last tried their browser.

I was surprised after a few startups with the speed that it loads pages. It makes
IE look like dog sh*t... I've been using Firefox continuously for about 3 years,
running Firefox 3 for the last few months. 3 is a big improvement over 2 but it
still hangs up quite a bit.

Although some pages take about the same amount of time to load, I am impressed
with the crisp response that I get with Opera. If you haven't tried it recently, give it
a shot. (its free... lol)

I gave up on Explorer years ago and started using good ol Netscape and switched to Firefox (and Thunderbird) later on.

I've been using them ever since. I never seem to have problems with using it.

At least it never "hangs up" on me. Yet.

I'm using version 2.0.0.16. Didn't know about a Firefox 3......

If it ain't broke don't try to fix it , is what I think.

But I'll have a look at what Opera has to offer anyway.

Thanks for the tip.
