Ok, had to re-install windows on my ass of a computer and i cant be bothered with McAfee anymore either, was wondeirng if you guys could suggest a better, or come to some dort of agreement of a really good bit of software for me to use.
My friend said to download avast, so i gave it a shot but every 2 secs im being scared shitless by the damn alerts that theres traces of whatever trojan on system files...when ive only just done a fresh install. |

You have no idea what you just done... You've opened the pandoras box of questions!!!
Only joking, personally I like Z-Alarm for firewall and an app called MKS_Vir for virus scanning (It killed 99.8% of virus' in a test done by PC World last year).
There is also a free firewall which I occasionaly like to use and it's very good, it is called Comodo Firewall!
Sysgate is also a very good firewall. |

I use a hardware router/firewall + a software firewall like Kerio, Sygate or Look 'n' Stop + the best antivirus, Kaspersky + antispyware like Spyware Doctor 4 or Spy Sweeper 5.
