Thanks for doing an excellent job posting stuff.

I have a favor to ask from those of you that are using
extra long file names. Its killing the database and the
search function.

Can you guys limit the total filename to about 32 characters
long at most and not exceed 80 characters for any URL.

The text search function used by phpBB sucks and it gets
confused when it gets too long and stop looking for matches
when it encounters an error. Also the SQL becomes error prone
because many of the long strings start looking the same due to
trunctation.

Also please try to name your upload files with short meaningless names
as this will keep people searching places like rapidshare and other upload
sites with the google trick, unable to figure out what is in the file.
