Yahoo home page gives prominence to search box

Yahoo Inc.<b style="color:#FFA34F"></b> <b style="color:#FFA34F"></b> on Tuesday launched a redesign of its popular Internet home page at yahoo.com,<b style="color:#FFA34F"></b> displaying a more prominent section for Web searches and reconfiguring its display menu.<b style="color:#FFA34F"></b>

Yahoo,<b style="color:#FFA34F"></b> one of the original Internet portals with over 100 million unique visitors per month,<b style="color:#FFA34F"></b> faces stiff competition from the search capabilities of Google Inc.<b style="color:#FFA34F"></b>.<b style="color:#FFA34F"></b>

The company is also competing for attention against a crop of newer social networking sites,<b style="color:#FFA34F"></b> such as News Corp.<b style="color:#FFA34F"></b>'s MySpace.com,<b style="color:#FFA34F"></b> that allow users an easy way to manage photos,<b style="color:#FFA34F"></b> videos and personal blogs online.<b style="color:#FFA34F"></b>

MSN has also redesigned its homepage.<b style="color:#FFA34F"></b>.<b style="color:#FFA34F"></b>.<b style="color:#FFA34F"></b>.<b style="color:#FFA34F"></b> Both of them look pretty much the same,<b style="color:#FFA34F"></b> but I still prefer Yahooo.<b style="color:#FFA34F"></b>.<b style="color:#FFA34F"></b>.<b style="color:#FFA34F"></b>.<b style="color:#FFA34F"></b>
