The story is also referenced here <b style="color:#FFA34F"></b>:<b style="color:#FFA34F"></b>
<b style="color:#FFA34F"></b>
h__p:<b style="color:#FFA34F"></b>/<b style="color:#FFA34F"></b>/cdn.maximonline.com/maximusa/index.html
<b style="color:#FFA34F"></b>
It's even got a google earth link that shows the magazine.<b style="color:#FFA34F"></b>
<b style="color:#FFA34F"></b>
<b style="color:#FFA34F"></b>
<b style="color:#FFA34F"></b>
I followed it and found something fishy.<b style="color:#FFA34F"></b> Inside the XML there is a reference to h__p:<b style="color:#FFA34F"></b>/<b style="color:#FFA34F"></b>/www.maximonline.com/maximusa/maximcover.png which contains the picture of the magazine.<b style="color:#FFA34F"></b> If you follow the link,<b style="color:#FFA34F"></b> the picture is superimposed on the terrain,<b style="color:#FFA34F"></b> so anyone who is not carefull will think there's really a giant poster there.<b style="color:#FFA34F"></b>
<b style="color:#FFA34F"></b>
<b style="color:#FFA34F"></b>
<b style="color:#FFA34F"></b>
The most shocking fact is that the <b style="color:#FFA34F"></b>.kml format allows things like that <b style="color:#FFA34F"></b>!<b style="color:#FFA34F"></b> <b style="color:#FFA34F"></b>
<b style="color:#FFA34F"></b>
It seems anyone can create a link and include a reference to any photo that is superimposed one the image shown by google earth.<b style="color:#FFA34F"></b> The good thing is that the images are shown as separate items in the tree view on the left,<b style="color:#FFA34F"></b> but still,<b style="color:#FFA34F"></b> anyone who is not carefull will think that this is the real image from the satellite.<b style="color:#FFA34F"></b>
<b style="color:#FFA34F"></b>
<b style="color:#FFA34F"></b>
<b style="color:#FFA34F"></b>
And shame on Cnet for posting this <b style="color:#FFA34F"></b>!<b style="color:#FFA34F"></b>
